YiaYia Comes to Wilmington

Well, the plane landed and we finally got what we have been waiting for...a visit from YiaYia! There were only a few things missing when she arrived, Poppy and Alexis! Despite her missing cargo, we gave great big hugs and toodled on back to the house for a fun-filled week. We always LOVE when Mom is in town because she is truly the most caring, loving, and compassionate mother a girl could ask for. Wiley absolutely adores his YiaYia and even looks for her when she leaves the room! As I sit here and write this, my heart begins to hurt as it's almost time for the Tupelo bound plane to depart. Tomorrow morning, YiaYia will head home to Poppy and Alexis, where she will be graciously welcomed home by her precious two loved ones. There's always "next time", which we are already looking forward to.

Sarah Comes To Visit!

We finally got to see Sarah after almost a year and a half! We were so happy that she took the time out of her busy work schedule (she's a nurse) to come meet baby Wiley. It was so neat to watch him interact with Sarah, as he quickly learned to adore her genuine smile and kind heart! It's always such a bright spot in our week when we have loved ones in our home! Thanks Sarah!

Creepy Crawler

Oh my gosh! Wiley is almost crawling! We are amazed by his new skills, as I'm sure he is as well. Despite the expected frustrations of learning something new, he is quite determined to be on the move. He woke up a few days ago and began the "rocking" on all fours and is already rocking and propelling himself forward. He has definitely figured out how to make it across the room in no time! Nothing is safe in our house anymore! He is such a strong little boy and we expect wonderful things for him! P.S. Chandler is loving this!

A New Adventure

As Fall approaches, our appreciation for life begins to feel renewed, refreshed, and "new" again. We are absolutely amazed at how much Wiley has changed our lives. Our focus and direction finally has a purpose and we wake each day to find ourselves happy and satisfied! There is nothing better than the smile on Wiley's face as he greets the morning with excitement and delight. If there was ever a time when we woke up unhappy, it's gone. If there was ever a time we felt unfulfilled, it's gone. Needless to say, we are thrilled with our new adventure and look forward to many wonderful years with our amazing miracle, Wiley.
